Hello Westeros!
It’s been a pretty intense month in Shanghai, with heavy workload followed by Covid restrictions lifted, which led to literally 90% of the people I know to catch it and end up in bed, myself included…
But while this basically cancelled our December tournament and games, it allowed me to get some painting done, and work on my pile of shame!

Stark Pile of Shame
Finally finished my Heroes 3 box, as well as my Crannogman Survivalist.
I’m a firm supporter of the “Edmure was a scapegoat for Robb and the Blackfish’s blunder” theory, so it’s no surprise that Edmure is my favorite over the Blackfish. Plus, I already have the “Hand of the King” sculpt of the latter, so decided to go for an Edmure paintjob for the second one, with his luxurious red beard!

Night’s Watch Pile of Shame
A very tiny pile of shame, with the Watch Marshall and the exclusive Conscript mini, “won” two tournaments ago (one of the consolation prizes for not being in the top 4, I was fifth with Stannis… TEETH GRINDING INTENSIFY).

Greyjoy Pile of Shame
Another small pile, with the activation banners! (you only ever really need 5 of them, so we shared a box with Eric)

Free Folks Pile of Shame
Heroes 3 box completed, BUT the skin-changing master still remains, Varamyr Six-skins!
Abel the Bard was particularly enjoyable, a nice change from furry pelts, and I really like this Jon Snow version compared to the weird NW pose.

Marvel United Pile of Shame
Finally, not in the ASOIAF universe, but I finished quite a few Marvel United X-Men characters, focusing on X-Factor characters mostly.

And with this last batch, half of my minis from the Kickstarter are done!

Quite happy with my pile of shame lowering, but it is still very high!
1 Baratheon order in progress (7 units), 1 more Baratheon order incoming, full Martells, Lannister stuff, Varamyr, Targaryen heroes, Baratheon Heroes 3 & 4, and 48 MU minis!
Oh and some Batman stuff, Legion stuff, Malifaux stuff, LotR stuff… Yeah, this pile is never emptying is it?

One response to “Pile of Shame 1!”
Great work on these, the white on that Tully horse is wonderful!
